We successfully concluded a training for the subgrantees of the project Strengthening Vulnerable Communities: Catalyzing Climate Action through Citizens’ Assemblies, which centers on strengthening participatory democracy and inclusive public dialogue. Delivered by expert, Marija Armenski, the 3-day training focused on preparing local organizations to design and facilitate citizens’ assemblies across North Macedonia.
Six subgrantees were selected to represent five planning regions—Polog, Southwestern, Northwestern, Vardar, and Pelagonia—ensuring broad geographic coverage and community representation. With the training phase now complete, the project moves into its next stage: finalizing cooperation with municipalities to support the effective implementation of citizens’ assemblies at the local level.
