The project is a joint initiative of ZIP Institute and the Ministry of Environmental and Physical Planning to raise awareness for the importance of protecting the beautiful Matka Canyon among the youth community in Saraj. Participants had a chance to get familiar with the flora and fauna of the Canyon and their importance to the eco system as the activities were led by the connoisseur of Matka, Mr. Xhemal Ramadani. Following a theoretical lecture, participants went hiking and camping and learned the history of the Canyon.
