Project Description:
Intergrated Saraj school project is a unique model of promoting the concept of integrated education in an ethnically mixed area, such as municipality of Saraj. Project activities have been directed towards ethnic involvement of all ethnic groups living in this region of Skopje.
The overall goal of the project is to impose a collective belief on integrated education as a necessary concept of the educational process for overcoming ethnic barriers and establishing dialogue between communities at the local level. Among the specific goals of the project are: socialization of pupils, working in a topic in the interest of all parties, as a way of overcoming the differences, introducing to the schools the concept of the integrated schooling without obstacles, raising the collective awareness for the integrated education, and clarifying the potential benefits of this concept in the local community.
