Innovative Approaches to Critical Raw Material Management in the Western Balkans
The green and digital transition has heightened the demand for critical raw materials, necessitating regulatory cooperation. This opens a door for EU and Western Balkan cooperation to integrate into the EU critical raw material supply chain. To achieve this, the Western Balkans must adapt regulatory frameworks, infrastructure, and actively engage with partner countries. This collaboration could evolve into a strategic framework for sustainable development, creating a more integrated, resilient, and market-based supply chain in the region.
