Project Description:
The 2022 Macedonian Energy Forum took place on June 30 and July 1st in Ohrid. Among the many key points mentioned was regional cooperation as an opportunity to mitigate the crisis. Further gas integration of the WB markets is needed as well as greater diversification of the energy sources. LNG is an opportunity for a secure gas supply, but also needed is an investment in renewables, an increase in energy efficiency, and the building of storage capacities in the region.
