The project Empowering Vulnerable Communities: Catalysing Climate Action through Climate Assemblies focuses on strengthening participatory democracy and supporting North Macedonia’s EU integration by involving energy-vulnerable citizens in decision-making on climate and energy policies. Organized through Climate Assemblies led by civil society organizations, the project fosters a more effective environment for CSOs working on energy and climate issues by establishing Climate Assemblies as a new governance model. This initiative aligns with advancing democratic institutions, the rule of law, and the EU approximation process in North Macedonia.
