Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to address one of the most neglected areas of Roma development and inclusion, i.e., health education and awareness, in order to better enable the Roma youth to realize their full potential in the generation of a confident, healthy and productive workforce in the larger society. On a broader level, the project promotes inclusion by reaching out on issues that are accessible mostly to the mainstream society. The project supports awareness and understanding of sexual and reproductive health and open discussions on growing up issues, to promote better physical and mental health among the Roma thus enabling them to be an equal, inclusive productive workforce in the society.
